This affordable and portable rigid heddle loom is quick and easy to use. Everything is included in the kit. Quick and easy to assemble and warp.The rigid heddle is a great introduction to hand weaving but is also very versatile. Create beautiful and unique garments and home ware. With colour and texture weave unique fabrics or with pick - up sticks create beautiful designs. The loom can also make woven tapestries and wall hangings. Made from Silver Beech hardwood the loom is very strong and robust. The option of a second heddle kit for multishaft weaving gives extra versatility to this loom. Four great weaving widths 40, 60, 80 and 120cm (16, 24, 32 and 48 ins).

Available in four weaving widths 40, 60, 80 and 120cm (16, 24, 32, 48 ins). Also available are 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15dpi (10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60/10cm) reeds so you can weave fine to textured yarns.
Second Heddle Option
All standard rigid heddle looms (RH400, RH600, RH800 and RH1200) will come with the second heddle sideposts included.
Having a second heddle allows you the flexibility to weave double width, double layer, double density fabrics as well as allowing you to do exciting patterns and techniques like "Theo Moorman".
Indirect Warping Option
All standard rigid heddle looms will have holes drilled in the bottom of the rails so you can use your loom as a warping frame for the indirect warping method.
You can purchase a set of Rigid Heddle Warping Pegs if you wish to use your loom in this way. There are 14 pegs included in the set, this will allow you to choose a variety of warp lengths.
Some benefits of indirect warping are the flexibility to use one thread of one colour, it saves space, even warp lengths, better tension control.
The approximate maximum warp lengths for each size loom are:
- RH400 - Rigid Heddle 40cm (16") - 4.7m (15.5')
- RH600 - Rigid Heddle 60cm (24") - 6.7m (22')
- RH800 - Rigid Heddle 80cm (32") - 8.7m (28.5')
- RH1200 - Rigid Heddle 120cm (48") - 12.7m (41.5')

Delivery charges:
Delivery charges are based on the final weight of the parcel and determined by Australia Post postage rates. Postage is added at the later stage of the ordering process.
Select the items you require, click on 'Purchase Now' enter 'Your Details' (including country) then the next screen automatically calculates the postage.
This process is required to provide the correct calculation, based on the total weight and the country to be sent to.
A reliable and cost-effective service is provided by Australia Post - all deliveries are sent via the delivery option you have chosen. Australia postage options include Regular postage and Express postage. International postage options include Airmail and sea mail.
Note: A new charge has been introduced in the United States of America (USA) for articles over 500g, so Australia Post has added an additional $9 security surcharge. This additional process may cause transit delays of up to 48 hours.
Returns policy:
Your satisfaction is important to us. If the yarn is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of its arrival and we will replace it. Yarn must be returned in original condition as received.
We do not offer refunds, but we will happily exchange, when an item is returned in original, unopened packaging, with receipt for proof of purchase.
We do not accept exchanges or returns on patterns, books or needles.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
We offer exchanges on excess yarn (2 or more balls of the same yarn, colour and dye lot/batch), with proof of purchase within 30 days, in original, unused state and if yarn is still in stock and available.
We acknowledge the return of faulty or defective products for refund, with receipt, as per manufacturer's warranty and Australian Consumer Law.
The Wool Shop gift vouchers cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, please treat gift cards as cash.

In the event that we do not have enough stock to complete your order, we will email or phone you to advise. You may wish to have your requested items back-ordered at that point, take part delivery or cancel the order.
Please note that it can take between 10 and 28 days to re-stock from some overseas suppliers.
