FAQ's, Layby Policy and Custom Order Policy
Q. How do I make a purchase?
A. You can order online using our shopping cart facility, or by mail, fax, email or phone.
Q. Can I order via one of these methods but pick up the goods?
A. Yes of course. The Wool Shop is not just a virtual wool shop! We are located at 58 Main Road Moonah, Tasmania.
Q: What are the payment options?
A If you prefer you can contact us direct and use your Visa Card or Mastercard. We also accept direct deposit to our bank account (Australia only).
Q: Are my private details kept confidential?
A: We will take our utmost care to ensure your private information is kept just that!
Q: It is safe to shop online?
A: The Wool Shop uses 128 bit encryption to secure online payments.
Q: Do you ship Internationally?
A: At this present time we are finding shipping overseas is not only expensive but unreliable so unfortunately we have ceased this until further notice.
Lay-bys can only be made instore (not online).
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of placing the lay-by.
If you cancel the lay-by at any time, or we (The Wool Shop) cancel due to the terms of the lay-by being breached (i.e non-regular payments and pickup), the 20% deposit will be kept as a cancellation fee. All other amounts will be refunded.
The standard term of the lay-by is 8 weeks, with regular fortnightly (14 day) payments required.
The minimum amount that may be placed on lay-by is $30.00.
The lay-by must be paid in full, within the term's of the lay-by agreement, before you receive your goods.
Custom Order Policy.
If you are placing an order for a particular item or yarn, you are required to pay in full prior to your items being ordered from the supplier.
Please ensure the product you are ordering is what you require, as no exchange or refund is given for custom orders.
